White Glazes and Transparent Glazes

Colorobbia’s enormous range of White Glazes and Transparent Glazes are suitable for glazing any substrate, from red clay to porcelain, and using any firing cycle.
Special products with antiqued, matt and crackle effects are available.
Fluxing or hardening products and expansion coefficient correctors exist to adapt the bases to different bodies and temperatures.

Coloured Glazes and Art Glazes

Coloured glazes are vitreous coatings opacified by the addition of colouring oxides during milling.
In general our glazes can be used on all types of substrates. In a few cases, due to degree of coverage or expansion coefficient, they are recommended on only a limited range of substrates. Transparent Coloured Glazes

These coloured but not completely opaque vitreous coatings have a deep colour and are suitable for underglaze decoration. The consistency of the colour tone is highly dependent on thickness, a characteristic that is generally exploited to accentuate low reliefs and engravings.
