Who we are
Even today Colorobbia Spa is considered the parent company of the Colorobbia Group, a industrial ceramic group that has increasingly established itself in world markets since the 1960s and now consists of 18 companies located in the main international ceramic production areas. The transfer of the historic headquarters from Via Gramsci in the centre of Montelupo Fiorentino to the new site on the Pratella industrial estate at the beginning of the new millennium enabled Colorobbia to consolidate its role as a producer company for the artistic and hobby sector. More recently, it made its debut in the sanitaryware sector by opening a factory at Gallese for the production of liquid slip for the production of cast sanitaryware.
Initially set up after the Second World War to meet the needs of the local ceramic industry, the company now offers a wide range of high quality products for numerous requirements, including glazes and engobes for roof tiles, coloured glazes for high temperatures, red and white bodies with high mechanical strength, and increasingly varied lines for the hobby sector (whether for the general public or for schools and rehabilitation centres).
