This clay is also suitable for the production of garden products. It displays a similar degree of efflorescence to galestro, but while not being completely free of calcium carbonate inclusions, its pale colour and greater fineness allow it to be glazed.
This clay is also supplied degassed in bricks or in powder form.

BLACK CLAY
ACN 5 Throwing/Press
A highly unusual body with similar workability to clay but with a black colour capable of creating unique effects when suitably glazed. Available in the plastic state.

DARK CLAY
ANF 11 Throwing/Press
This clay can be used at low temperatures (up to 1050°C), where it displays a similar behaviour to our other clays. At higher temperatures a vitrification process begins resulting in zero absorption at 1180°C.
It is available in the plastic state in two colour versions (black and brown), which reach maximum intensity as the temperature is increased. It can be supplied with 20% added chamotte for the production of large-dimension pieces.
The product’s low thermal expansion guarantees thermal shock resistance, making it suitable for the production of ovenware and outdoor articles.
