CSC and CSM series colours
These are produced by mixing one or more colouring oxides with fluxes. Underglaze colours can be used directly on the bisque, in which case they should be applied by brush, sponge, pad, spray gun or screen printing.
Overglaze colours should be used on pieces that have already been glazed. They can be applied using the same techniques as underglaze colours, although they vitrify automatically regardless of the nature of the glaze.
To meet growing demand for products that do not contain lead in their formulations, we have developed a series of lead-free colours. Given that the presence of this metal cannot be identified by the product code, they are indicated in the catalogue by an asterisk next to the code.
CAV series colours
The new-generation, completely lead-free colours undergo a super-ventilation process and are therefore perfectly mixable even when dry. They are suitable for colouring white or neutral glazes and can be dissolved directly in the container without creating specks in the mixture.
They come in two series: underglaze (series 2000) or overglaze (series 12000).
